Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production is gaining momentum in Europe.

Finnish company Neste has recently started producing SAF at its renewables refinery in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. With this expansion, Neste’s global SAF production capacity has increased to 1.5 million tons per year — a major step toward decarbonizing aviation.
Moreover, the European Union is enforcing the ReFuelEu Aviation regulation, setting ambitious SAF usage targets:

1.     2% SAF by 2025
2.     6% by 2030
3.     70% by 2050
